I want to create a recurring event that will repeat at different times. Can I do that?

Sure.

To do so, create an event and add all the necessary time slots to it using the Add Time to Existing Event option. Set the desired recurrence for each time slot individually.

How to create an event that repeats only on specific days of the week?

  1. Create a new event or edit an existing one.
  2. Go to edit the time of the event.
  3. In the Repetition section, select Customize…
  4. In Repeat Every choose Week.
  5. Click on the needed days specific days of the week when the event must repeat.

Can I create an event that starts on one day and ends on another?

Yes, you can. Our WordPress calendar plugin supports multi-day events, allowing you to schedule events that span across multiple days seamlessly.

  1. Create a new event or edit an existing one.
  2. Go to edit the time of the event.
  3. Manually select time and date for the event.

Can I schedule multiple events for the same time slot?

Sure, you can create multiple events for the same timeslot. Simply add as many events as needed with the same time for the same day.

How to add a new calendar?

The MotoPress Events Calendar plugin allows you to create and manage unlimited calendars. You can use each calendar to display different types of events, such as specific classes, event categories, or in other ways to suit your needs.

To add a new calendar:
1. Go to Calendar → Events.
2. Click on the ‘+’ icon to add a new calendar.

3. Tick the box next to the calendar to display/hide a calendar and its events in the admin view.

Can I display events from multiple calendars in the same calendar?

Yes, to display events from multiple calendars in the same calendar, go to the Events Calendar block settings in the block editor > Filters > Calendars to display > Select your calendars.

How do I share a URL that shows a specific date/time of a recurring event?

If your event has a public page enabled, every occurrence of a recurring event automatically gets its own unique URL.

There are a few easy ways to access it:

From the admin calendar:

  1. Open the admin calendar.
  2. Find the event date/time you want to share.
  3. Click the event page link to open its unique public URL.

  1. Open an events calendar.
  2. Find a specific event at a specific date and time and click on it.
  3. Click ‘View Event’ button.

  1. Open the event’s public page.
  2. Look for the section that shows upcoming occurrences times for the event.
  3. Click the specific date/time you want to share — you’ll be taken to its unique URL.

You can then copy and share that page link wherever you need.

How does the plugin deal with time zones?

The plugin does not adjust for time zones. The event times you set will appear the same to all site visitors, regardless of their individual time zones.
