    1. Thank you for your question. You may use Attributes instead of categories to be able to select a proper term in a search from and filter search.     When I list a single accommodation, the “book” button send the customer to the search form, then to search results where he has to choose an accommodation again which is odd…
    Is it possible to do like in airbnb or bookings:
    single accommodation –> registration form with the calendar displayed –> checkout page if the dates match with availability, error message if they don’t.

    I am having major issues with the plugin:

    1. the sync calendar does not work/sync with Airbnb. We have a date booked via the site for September 13-15, but it is not showing as booked in Airbnb
    2. no email confirmation being sent after confirmed booking, not to customer or to admin
    3. booking plugin is allowing multiple bookings per accommodations/dates. We only have one accommodation type (1 small cottage), so I don’t understand why it is allowing multiple bookings/searched to return availability for dates already booked.

      When you create accommodation types within our plugin, the plugin automatically creates individual pages for them where the Book button is displayed by default.

  4. Is it possible to set different rate for services?
    For eg: I have a service called extra bed;
    We charge 1000 on off season and 2000 on seasons for extra bed service.
    Can we do this with the plugin now?

      It is possible to add different service rates as separate services and apply needed service manually when the proper season starts running.

      Hotel Booking plugin is rather flexible and can be used for different types of rental. Could you clarify what you mean under all the plans you mentioned so we could get your idea properly? Thanks

        These plans add addition meals Plan to the room rate.
        room rate: 7300/-
        MP-Meals Plan
        for eg: for continental plan 7300+3500 MP
        For Modified American Plan 7300+ 3660 MP
        For American Plan 7300+ 3860 MP.
        So the user has to select any of these plans from the checkout.

          Thank you for your explanation. You may add this as separate rates for the same accommodation type. It is possible to add unlimited amount of rates for the same accommodation type using the same seasons but applying different price and even adding description to explain the difference if it is needed. Thus the guest would be able to select a needed rate on the checkout page.

            Yes, we can add multiple rates. But on the price break down we want to show the prices split. for eg:
            Room rent: 7300
            Tax: 500
            Meals (BF+ Lunch+Dinner):3599
            Tax: 200

            When we adding rates we can add only the total amount or the room rent only.

            Then you may add meals a services. It will be displayed separately in the price breakdown and services can be taxed separately, too.

            The price of meals is different for each room types. So we can’t add it as service.

          Sorry for the above reply. We can add the meals plans as a service. But services are not mandatory. For us, the meals plans are mandatory for each room type.

      Thank you for your question. You may get certain room by indicating its id within [mphb_room] shortcode. You can learn all available shortcodes at Dashboard > Accommodation > Shortcodes. Also there are available blocks of Hotel Booking if you use new editor at WordPress 5.

  7. What I want is a way to let my customers report issues in a room and I want such rooms (rooms with issues) to be highlighted when I go to check the rooms page in the admin section. Please is this available? I need this to make a decision.

    1. Hi,
      There is no special option for the case you have described. However you may try using WordPress native comment sections and enable full moderation to be able to view draft comment assigned to each property.

  8. Hi. If like to know if the yearly subscription is required for the Plugin to keep working because it isn’t very clear at checkout, not even in the cart; or if it’s optional only for updates and support.

    Can I keep it working with only the first purchase indefinitely?

      The active license is required for plugin updates and technical support. License expiration does not affect plugin/theme functionality. You may renew the license when you need updates or support

      Currently there is no ready made solution for such integration however we have this in out to-do list. You may try to make your integration if you have particular coding skills though. Thank you for your feedback.

  10. Hello, I’m thinking of buying the Hotel Booking plugin for a client. But I’m not sure if the plugin offers the following functionality: if a user asks for an availability (e.g. 2 adults from 26/01/2019 for 2 nights) and there are no more rooms free, then the system starts searching for the next availability. So there should be an answer like: no, we don’t have a room available on this date, but we have a room available on 2/2/2019 for 2 nights. And then the possibility to reserve for that new period.

    1. Hi, Thank you for your question. At the moment there is not option that shows the nearest available date if all rooms are booked. You may place availability calendars of the rooms for your visitors to see the dates when certain room is available.

    1. Hello James, make sure you have season with dates that are going on the dates you check an availability for, rates with such season and there no booking rule added that may block off the stay-in period or check in, etc.

          Dates are blocked automatically whenever someone submits a booking or when you block off dates in Bookings > Booking Rules.

Hi, I don’t recieve customer or admin emails for confirmation when making reservation, I have the payment set to confirmation email, and in Accomodation settings, I have the admin’s email set both in “Admin Email list” and in Email Settings, I see the booking in the administration panel, but no emails, any suggestions or help?

    1. Hi Memo,
      Make sure Mail Function is enabled and configured properly on your server as it is responsible for message delivery. You can contact your hosting provider to get assistance with your server configurations. Or we would recommend to set up SMTP on your WordPress for better and secure email delivery.

    We are currently selling with euro. But banks also want local currency to appear. I want to add the second currency. Is it possible to show the local currency after selecting the room or at the payment section?

      Unfortunately there is no option to use multi-currency within Hotel Booking plugin. We’ll keep your suggestion in mind and probably will provide some solution later with further updates. Thanks.

      Thank you for your question however I’m not sure i got the question correctly. Could you clarify what other editor you use and what you can not edit using it?

          We have update demo sites however it is still possible to rent out beds using our hotel booking plugin. You will need to add beds as accommodation types to rent them out.

    Can the plugin be configured so that bookings are not accepted automatically? e.g. when the user places a booking, the user must wait to find out if the booking is approved, this is to allow the administrator time to refuse if it has already been booked through a telephone call or email.

    1. Hi,
      Yes, it is possible to accept only booking requests for the admin to review and approve/decline. For this you would need to set the confirmation mode to By Admin Manually in Accommodation > Settings. Note that with this confirmation mode it is possible to accept a booking, but not possible to request an online payment through our plugin.

      1. Hello Stacy, kinda old post but i have a question indirectly related to this, it is possible to set some accomodations to be aproved by admin but not all of them? Also how can an user pay for it online? i see the option to create a payment on the bookings but I.E i use woocommerce gateways for my country i dont get that option available on there, only “Woocommerce Gateway” and i see a transaction ID input but it has nothing to do with it, how can i make the clients pay?

        1. Hi Antonio,
          Thank you for your question. It is not possible to select different confirmation methods for certain property. However you may place third party contact forms on pages of properties where you wish to review each booking manually.
          As for payment gateways so you should enable confirmation mode ‘upon payment’ at settings of Hotel Booking plugin and configure required payment gateways.

  15. I am setting up the hotel booking plug in, but the availability for all my accommodations cuts out at 12/31/2018. All of the dates after 12/31/2018 have a dash through them. I can’t seem to figure out why.

      Thank you for your question. Make sure there is a season for 2019 and Rate with this season applied. Do not hesitate to email our support team to help you check your bookings settings.

      Thank you for your question. There are quite a lot of actions and filters available in Hotel Booking plugin however we have not formed a complete list describing each one.       If you use Hotel Booking WooCommerce Payments addon to integrate payment gateways please make sure you’ve updated both plugins as since latest update the info added on booking page is transferred to checkout page that prevented from double filling the fields.

  17. I’m having a brain freeze with seasons –

    Say there are three base seasons – low at $50/nt, medium at $75/nt, high at $100/nt. But within those seasons there are blocks of days with higher rates (high season weekday is $100, but high season weekend is $125).

    Should each be a seperate season, or will a the high season weekend supercede the high season weekday?

      You would need to create low, medium and high seasons with week days and additionally weekend seasons selecting just days of the weekend. Then you would be able to add season prices to single rate dragging theme on the top of each other to define a priority. Or add season prices to different rates instead. Feel free to email us so we’ll be able to check your plugin settings amount of accommodation types and assist you.

    i use the shortcode [mphb_availability id=”xxx”] to check the availability of the accommodation type with post-id “xxx”. But the search result shows also accommodation types with other post-ids. I need a search result for a specific accommodation type. Any solution for this?

    1. Hi Uwe,
      You can enable Skip Search results option under Dashboard>Settings and it will check availability of certain accommodation type without going to search results page. Let us know if it is helpful.

    I have purchased and implemented the hotel booking plugin, and I have several users (“Editors”) who should use it, but the menu Reservation doesn’t show entirely, so how to make it appear entirely for Editors? It is very important that they can use it.

      Thank you for your question. You can try using third party plugins for creating custom user roles to provide access for needed dashboard sections. Also do not hesitate to email our support team as you have purchased a plugin.

      At the moment you can hide certain information at single accommodation page with code. however we’ll also keep your request in mind and maybe will add some solution to control the layout of accommodation type page at back-end. Thank you

  21. Good morning, I need information about the possibility of double use of the accommodations. What I want to know is if for the same room there is the possibility of selecting 1 person, 2 people, 3 people

      It is possible to create as many rates as you need for each accommodation, e.g. 1 person rate/ 2 people rate/ 3 people rate and the customers will be able to choose the one that they need on the check out page.

          Unfortunately, I could not find any ticket from you in our system. Could you specify the number of the ticket that you created?
          Make sure that the 1 person and 2 people rates have different prices, are tied to the same accommodation and the same season. If you search for the dates within this season, you will be able to choose a rate on the check out page. You can also contact our support team through the ticket system providing access to your dashboard and we will check the settings for you.

  22. Could you please enlist a documentation process for adding a custom payment gateway.

    This would ease up a lot of time for your core-development team, as including each payment gateway in the core would not make sense. Further with a right set of documentation, plugin buyers can create their own gateways via coding with reference to such a guide, expanding the use-case market for the core plugin.

      Thank you for your question however it is not possible to add a universal guide that will match all payment gateways. There is individual API for each gateway and this causes difficulties and adding a single guide for all of them. We’ll keep this request in mind to provide some solution for this. Thank you.
