Hello I also collect a 30% deposit and the guest must pay the rest 30 days before arrival. Could you add an option to send an email to guest requesting the remainder and a link to pay via stripe or paypal the remainder. Yes two separate transactions should occur. This is common with other booking sites.
It would also be nice to see a spot for a security deposit — I can’t add it to fees or services because it is not taxed.

With the new addon Request Payment, you can charge a deposit during booking and automatically or manually request the rest of the payment a certain number of days before check-in. You can read more about the plugin in this article.

1. I understand this has the ability for % coupons, but can you set a monetary value?
2. We take a 20% deposit, with payment 6 weeks before arrival. Does your system have the ability to send a reminder email with a link for the customer to pay when the balance payment is due?

1. Currently you can create coupon codes with percentage, and apply different rates based on guest count and stay period. Could you clarify your question more detailed providing examples?
2. At the moment the rest of the deposit can be paid by guests on his arrival only.
Oh that’s a shame – it’s not possible to customise an email with the tool to do this? Are there any plans for this to be released? (I’ve got until end of Sep to decide whether to renew with my current system) Paying a balance in advance of arrival is very common for holiday rentals, and I don’t think we could find a way around this.

I guess it could be managed via payment gateway but even most popular payment gateway providers does not have option to pay the amount in two steps – deposit and the rest. Do you use confirmation upon payment or some other mode (by admin manually or email)?

I have a hostel with 12 beds and the visitors can be adults and child (with a limit of a adult). I have been test you plugin and in the select box the customer may select the option12 adults or 11 childs. But if enter this total quantity are 23 and you may book but is a error because only we have12 beds. With a plugin¿Can I limit the total quantity of beds to 12?

It is possible to hide children parameter and rename Adults into Guests that will mean both either adults and children. Thus you will use Guests (re-named Adults) as total capacity. will that work for you?

In my opinion no is a good choice your answer, because adults have different price that a child, then I need know the number of childs and adults. Is important know how many child and adults and to limit by total number of beds.

Hi there, i’m thinking about purchasing your plugin. I do have a few questions beforehand which I hope you can answer for me:
– When I look at the demo (Villagio) and I want to book a villa, I have to enter my full name, email and number, even before I get to the checkout page (where I have to do the exact same thing). Why are you asking twice about the same information?
– We also sell giftcards to our customers, is this also possible with this plugin? And how does it work, can we generate a code which stands for a specific amount of money?

– There is used Hotel Booking WooCommerce Payments addon on Villagio demo site. It is not included in theme by default. This addon integrates payment gateways from WooCommerce. We’re also working on this question currently – to move the entered information to Checkout page of WooCommerce not to enter it twice. So it would be available in the next version of plugin.
– There is option to add coupon codes of percentage type. Do you mean this?

My client sells tours and has very specific needs for displaying the several tours’ information. So I created a website with a custom page for each tour. Still, he would like to display availabilities with a calendar and allow users to pay a deposit for the tours. I have already tried several plugin but none of them seem to be fully functionnal.
So, if I buy this plugin of yours, will I be able to display ONLY the calendar (and eventually booking form) on a page separate from the “room” page ? The room page can exist besides the tour page.

There is no way to display the booking calendars separately not on the accommodation pages. However, these calendars are available in the booking form (added with [mphb_availability id=”your-accommodation-id”] ), when the customers click on the check-in and check-out dates. These forms can be added to any page and the unavailable dates are crossed-out there.
We would still advise to test this functionality in one of our demos to make sure that it fits your needs, since the plugin was designed for property rental.
I have another question. If I run 2 different sites with this plugin and I add respective iCal urls to these sites. Do they automatically synchronize if automatic synchronization is on?

I can’t seem to get this to work. I made a booking on one site and even if I click “Sync all external calendars” it doesn’t add the new booking to the other site. Could I get any help with this?

Yes, it is possible to block certain rooms for certain period and you can do this by going to Dashboard>Bookings>Booking Rules.
Unfortunately it is not possible to order services after the accommodation is booked. We’ll keep this feature in mind for further plugin development. As a workaround you can try to sell services on your site using third party plugin for selling like WooCommerce, etc.
Is there any option to change main currency and show multiple currencies?

It is possible to change currency however there is no possibility to use multiple currencies at the same time. So there can be selected 1 currency per website only.
