Thank you for your feedback, it is much appreciated. So far this is the way that search results work by default. This was done due to the fact the Hotel Booking plugin allows multi-booking and your guests might want to book, let’s say, two rooms with 2 guests capacity in case one room with 4 guests capacity is not available for selected dates.
We do have such a feature request and I have added your up-vote to it as well. In case there are more requests from other users, we might consider implementing such option in future.Regards,

Unfortunately, there is no option to apply taxes depending on the number of guests. As a workaround you may include a tax amount to a price per night for specific number of guests via Variable Pricing. For more details kindly check this article.

In case you require adults and children to be enabled, the offered option does not suit you and you will have to use default search results functionality.

The rule will be applied to the general search form only in case you have a minimum stay rule set to all the seasons. Otherwise you will be able to select any dates, as this is a general search form and you might still have some accommodations available for shorter stays.

Sure, you may perform translations directly in language files. Use the .po language file for the language in question under /wp-content/plugins/motopress-hotel-booking/languages/ directory to perform necessary changes. It is recommended to copy edited .po and .mo files to /wp-content/languages/plugins/ directory after that in order to avoid loosing changes after the plugin update.

The confirmation “By admin manually” mode is not affected by the “Approval Time for User” option, as it is applied to the confirmation “By customer via email” mode only. You will find more information in this part of plugin documentation.
