I guess you should contact your theme providers asking for such a customization as this questions concerns theme properties and layouts. Slider is just a widget and it does not suppose to have some page layout like Maintenance Page. You can put slider to Popup or something like that.
I would recommend to contact TemplateTuning department of your theme providers.

1. Make sure you use latest version of Emmet theme and Emmet Engine plugin. You can also try to re-install theme.
2. Make sure you save changes you make before previewing the website.

Yes, sure you use out of date version. The latest one is 2.0.3 and I would recommend to install it instead. I guess you use Lite version of plugin. Then you need to remove current MotoPress Content editor plugin from your WordPress. Then go to Plugins>Add new and search for ‘Page Builder by MotoPress’. It is lite version and it does not require activation any more.
If you have a Pro version you should activate the license to get notification about update.

That’s rather strange behavior. Seems like there is conflict with another plugin. You can try to deactivate plugin one by one to find what exactly one causes an issue. Check if it is up to date.
