Most likely you use some caching plugin and it is configured incorrectly. Please try to check settings of caching plugin and see if it is configured properly. try to clear the cache and load the page again.
If you use WP Super Cache plugin you can try to configure it using this article.

in order to make dropdown menu you should go to Appearance > Menus and create a menu. Add pages/items and drag subpages to the right a little according to Parent item. Save your menu and switch to Manage Location tab. Then select your menu for Primary menu location and save changes. You can refer to the screenshots:

I’ve just tested this style and it works properly. Probably you made a mistake in RGBA code. Do not forger about Alpha value that goes after color code e.g. rgba(50,65,85,0.75); If you do not need transparency value you should use RGB e.g. rgb(50,65,85);
