ModeratorHello, Florian!
Thank you for your suggestion regarding this matter, I will let our developers know and hope they will be able to implement this option to the plugin soon.

ModeratorHello, Gabriel!
First question:
There are no specific requirements for the Hotel Booking plugin, it all depends on the number of requests your website sends to the server (the number of accommodation types, the number of bookings/seasons/rates you have got etc. ). However, I would recommend having at least 256MB of memory limit, in order to avoid issues with exceeding it.Second question: Regarding the search result.
Unfortunately, there is no option to display several accommodation types in the Recommended section. As for ordering accommodations in the search results, there are only two options to order them by in the [mphb_search_results] shortcode – “order” and “price”: https://prnt.sc/v6wu3r.Third consultation:
Unfortunately, there is no option to have the recommended section to look like other accommodation types in search results, it would require additional customization in PHP code. If you have sufficient knowledge in PHP, you may overwrite default functions from search-results-shortcode.php file under /wp-content/plugins/motopress-hotel-booking/includes/shortcodes/ directory in your theme functions.php file in order to apply desired changes.Regards,

ModeratorHello, Gabriel!
This happens because the plugin allows multi-booking – booking several accommodations at one. This would be useful in case there are no accommodations for 5 guests available, as your guests may still want to book one accommodation for 4 guests and one – for 1 guest.
If you would like to have accommodation types displayed only depending on selected number of guests, you may try this workaround.Regards,

ModeratorHello, Marita!
You may use variable pricing option in order to achieve described variations. However, it will only work for 7-12 guests combination you have mentioned: if you set the price to be 300€ starting from the second night and your guest will book 3 nights, the price will be calculated exactly as 300€+300€+300€, there is no way to charge 500€ for the first night and then 300€ for further nights (as described in your example for 1-6 guests).

ModeratorHello, James!
Unfortunately, there is no option in the plugin to retrieve the booking status on the front-end. Could you provide some examples on how would you like to use it and how would it look like on the front-end?

ModeratorHello, Philip!
Unfortunately, there is no option in the plugin to book a room without having at least one adult selected. However, we will keep your request in mind and in case there are more similar requests from other users, we will consider adding this feature in one of the plugin future updates.
Anyone else who also needs this feature feel free to let me know by commenting this topic.Regards,

If you want to use Checkout Fields add-on, you may add a checkbox field, so your Guests specify whether they have children under 7 years old and and another select field below to allow your Guests to select the number of children under 7 they have, however, this will not affect the capacity, so your client will only have this as an information.

ModeratorHello, Karl!
The Payment Request plugin allows to send out manual or automatic e-mails with payment link to pay the remaining balance due – it suits perfectly when your Guests pay the deposit first.
If you would like to have your Guests paying the deposit when they book beforehand and the full amount when it is close to the check-in date, you may configure this using default Hotel Booking functionality – it is available in the plugin starting from version 3.8.3: https://prnt.sc/v6vr48.Regards,

ModeratorHello, Philip!
There is no exact option in the Hotel Booking plugin to achieve this, however, we do have a workaround which may work out for you. First of all, you will need to create each room/spot as an accommodation type, as well as have the whole camp also created as a separate accommodation type (9 accommodations types in total). You will need to sync your accommodation types calendars between each other, however, you may still need to control the process manually in order to make sure everything works in tact. Check this article for more details on how to do that.

ModeratorHello, Joceyl!
The shortcode allows to display availability for a single accommodation type only, there is no way to include several ID’s to the shortcode.
Using this shortcode will return search results for the specific accommodation type only, there is no option to have all the accommodation types displayed in the search results showing available/blocked accommodations for selected dates, unfortunately.Regards,

ModeratorHello, Ryan!
You should navigate to Accommodation ->Settings ->License and make sure you have the Hotel Booking plugin license inserted and activated there. You may find the plugin license in your personal MotoPress account by clicking the “View Licenses” link next to the plugin purchase.

ModeratorHello, Andy!
The solution provided is for displaying price per night even when the Minimum stay rule is set to 3 nights. The solution should be still valid.

ModeratorHello, Martina!
Please note that on the Search Results page base prices for your accommodation types are displayed – there is also a note that “prices start at”, so it gives your Guests a hint that the price may vary. When you confirm the booking, the price is displayed according to the selected number of adults/children and may differ from the ones on the Search Results page – this is how it should work.
