    Hi,

    I am considering buying this plugin. The reason is that there is not option to only have deposits for bookings that are more than fx. 6 weeks away. I want to don’t want my customers to pay the full amount if there stays are 4-5 months away. Will this help?

    Hello, Karl!

    The Payment Request plugin allows to send out manual or automatic e-mails with payment link to pay the remaining balance due – it suits perfectly when your Guests pay the deposit first.
    If you would like to have your Guests paying the deposit when they book beforehand and the full amount when it is close to the check-in date, you may configure this using default Hotel Booking functionality – it is available in the plugin starting from version 3.8.3: https://prnt.sc/v6vr48.

    Hi there, really interesting this default option. But if I only want my clients to pay a 25% deposit and then pay the rest of the charge on the hotel or appartment? How can i do this?

    Hello Carla,

    In this case you may disable sending out automatic e-mails with the balance due to your Guests and control the process manually – you may do that under Accommodation ->Extensions ->Payment Request tab: https://prnt.sc/v9xzjw. Simply set the User Pays option to “Deposit” under Accommodation ->Settings tab and allow your Guests paying the remaining amount on arrival. For those, who you want to pay online, you may send payment request manually directly from the booking page: https://prnt.sc/v9y10a.

    Hello Karl,

    Since the Hotel Booking is built in the theme you are using it can be updated along with the theme itself only. It usually takes our developers some time to update the theme in order to make everything work in tact. If you need the latest version now and do not want to wait for a theme update, feel free to get the Hotel Booking plugin license separately in order to receive automatic plugin updates regardless of the theme version.

    Hi Andre, this options you show me on the screenshot i don’t see it. So the deposit don’t work if you don’t have the “Hotel Booking addons” ??

    because i already pay for hotel booking plugin and the Hotel Booking WooCommerce Payments…this is really expensive. Now o i have to buy “Hotel Booking Payment Request” ?

    Hello Carla,

    The Deposit option works in the Hotel Booking plugin by default, there is no need to purchase the Payment Request add-on. However, by default the Deposit option suggests that your guests pay the deposit and then pay the remaining balance due on arrival. The Payment Request add-on is required only in case you would like to charge the remaining balance due via online payments X days before the guest arrival.

    I only want them to pay 25% of the charge before and then in my hostel the rest.

    Hello Carla,

    The tab from the screenshot is available for Payment Request plugin only, it is not available in the Hotel Booking by default. Since you have commented the topic created under Payment Request plugin I have suggested that you have got the plugin as well.
