    Hello,

I updated the plugin Hotel Booking to 4.6.0

But now, on the accomodation page the search for dates does not work, when I e.g. choose 18.-25.02.2023 which is free, the website gave an error message back and not the book button.

Also the availabilty calendar is on the accommodation page complete grey, what means, no free spaces, but this is not correct.

    Please see the page https://www.meerblick-miramar.de/accommodation/ferienwohnung/

I also find out, when Iam locked in on the admin page and then go to the accommodation page, the search works. Maybe there is a authorization problem?
Someone else with the same behaviour?

    Thank you

    Felizia

Felizia – It works great for me so far. I don’t see anything gray with you, I would be fine with booking.

Felizia, update your theme to the latest version to apply new styles of the Availability calendar. Dates 18.-25.02.2023 are booked.

Felizia, you may create a ticket to update your theme properly and also ask support team about the availability calendar.

    Hi Felizia,

    Thanks for your waiting time.

    1. As far as I can see, you have managed to update the theme correctly. Let me know if you have any questions about the theme update.
    2. As for the calendar and form, so I could not replicate the issue. Perhaps it occurs due to the caching plugin that is used on your site – WP Rocket. Thus I’ve excluded the accommodation page and checkout page from caching. I’ve also excluded the CSS files from the optimization according to this topic https://motopress.com/forums/topic/wp-rockets-remove-unused-css-function-messes-up-the-calendar/#post-1407478

Could you please check the page and let me know if the issue still occurs? Feel free to ask any additional questions.

    best regards,
    John Davis

BUG version 4.6. Now I have found that the calendar is not actually displayed unless the admin is logged in. Sometimes it can stay in CACHE. This error needs to be fixed. Reinstalling to 4.5.1 fixed this bug.

    Hi Pavel,

Thanks for your reply. Perhaps the issue occurs due to the caching that is enabled on your site. You may try to exclude the page(s) with the forms and calendars as well as the checkout form from the cache to prevent this. If the issue still persists you may contact our support team and we will take a closer look at this for you.

    best regards,
    John Davis

So I updated again to 4.6 and it works now. So the error will be somewhere in the wordpress CACHE. I did see the error though, I tested it on several PCs and all browsers. I also cleared the cache in the browsers, but I could not see the reserved dates. After installing 4.5.1, it normally displayed everything correctly. So I don’t know where the error could be.

I turned off the cache for all of wordpress. Thanks, I will test.
    Thanks for the info.

I am also getting the same error message as mentioned above:

Was there a solution for this?

    Cheers,
    Rob
