I was just wondering if there were any compatible plugins that allow for the portfolio section on the front page to just “pop up.” I am not the biggest fan of the single page, blog style post for each individual portfolio item. I love the theme and it works great, I just want to upgrade the portfolio section.

Hello Alyshia,
It is not possible to open Portfolio Page in lightbox (popup) using default functionality of theme. It would require fundamental changes of the theme files.
