Plugin updates: Compatibility Unknown

Why is Motopress not reporting it’s compatibility with WordPress? Given the problems with plug-in updates that trigger new bugs, it would be nice to see that Motopress is putting some effort in testing the compatibility before releasing new versions…?

So far both Hotel Booking and Payment Request plugins are fully compatible with the latest WordPress version. We have also tested recent plugins updates and they appear to be stable without any critical issues.

Why not put the effort in and reporting it’s compatibility to WordPress like all respected developers? Plugin updates still show up with unknown compatibility…

I like a confirmation that you tested it, not blindly clicking update and hope everything will be fine. As you might understand: these plugins are at the core of the rental business our clients provide.
