Payment intent type for Stripe question

Is there a way in the plugin for setup intents API to allow for the creation of a customer in Stripe instead of a one-time payment?

Scenario.

a site is booked with only a deposit being made. When that information is passed on to Stripe, we are unable to capture customer information in order to create a customer listing in Stripe in order to charge for the remaining balance manually.

My client does not want to use the payment request plugin even though, I have it in place.

Hello Fenton,

Unfortunately, there is currently no such possibility within default API integrated to the Hotel Booking plugin. We will take your suggestion in mind though for future plugin releases and might include such functionality .
For now the best option would still be the Payment Request add-on, which works perfectly fine with the described scenario.
