Not able to activate – Parse Error

I try to activate the plugin but it gives me a parse error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING or ‘(‘ in /home/content/c/a/c/cactusviewftp/html/osakagrillaz/wp-content/plugins/mp-restaurant-menu/restaurant-menu.php on line 13

I am running wp 4.5.3. I’ve deactivated all plugins, but no luck.

Hi Jacob,

Make sure you install latest version of plugin. Probably the archive is damaged so i would recommend you to try to download it again and install to your WordPress. Also you can install it by browsing plugins from WordPress.org at your WordPress.
If it is not helpful we would ask you to submit request to our support team. We’ll have a closer look at it.

Thank you John for your quick help. I’ve updated to PHP 5.3 and the plugin works great now.
