I have a customer that paid a 100 deposit and then the balance on 2 occasions. I have attached the logs for the Booking.
You can see an email went out (approved Booking Email) for the deposit but does no email go when they pay the balance (and if so which?).
I see from the url (
https://selfcateringstratford.co.uk/booking-confirmation/payment-success/?payment_id=4289) that they see a screen that tells them they do?

For now there is no confirmation email sent to guests when the payment is made via Payment Request plugin. We do have such a feature request and I have added your up-vote to it. In case there are more requests from other users, we might consider implementing such option in one of the plugin future updates.
