Breadcrumb Alternative

The breadcrumbs plugin included during install hasn’t been updated in three years and it throws an “Invalid URL in field id” error in Search Console, negatively impacting rich snippets. Can you recommend an alternative?

Thank you for reporting this issue, I have passed the request to our developers regarding this matter. Meanwhile, you may try using some alternative plugins, e.g.: Breadcrumb NavXT.
Please note that you may need to perform additional steps in order to integrate it to the theme and we do not guarantee its full compatibility with the Campterra theme, as it was never tested with it.

Thanks for your question. Since we did not get any further complaints on the plugin so this task was not processed yet. Also the plugin is optional and can be removed or replaced by alternate solution.

The Campterra demo still shows breadcrumbs. How many complaints are required before Motopress makes a product work as advertised?

The theme works as it is described indeed. You may either activate or deactivate or re-install the plugin for breadcrumbs if it does not meet your requirements. Though we will still review the possibility to change this plugin during the next update of the theme.

Thanks for your reply. There is used plugin by Justin Tadlock but there is used another version 10.0.0 in the theme. we will review the case with Search Console warnings and check the possibility to change this plugin during the next update of the theme. Thank you for your feedback.
