ParticipantI have recently been having odd failures in my Stripe payments.
These are my Stripe logs:
Perfect — I can now see the full picture for both customers. Here's what happened:
£893.61 – Pavel Charushin ([email protected]) – Reservation #42799
Timeline:
1. 10:42:01 UTC – ✅ SUCCEEDED – pi_3TXffRIoXl7JCmnw2RqFsrz0 (card ending
8687)
2. 10:42:42 UTC – ❌ INCOMPLETE – pi_3TXfg6IoXl7JCmnw2By8VhXD (authentication
failed)
3. 10:45:50 UTC – ❌ FAILED – pi_3TXfj8IoXl7JCmnw0yO9Hif7 (insufficient funds)
£1,156.25 – Julia Curtis ([email protected]) – Reservation #34950
Timeline:
1. 19:47:18 UTC – ✅ SUCCEEDED – pi_3TX5E2IoXl7JCmnw22PXx7Np (card ending
5007)
2. 19:51:00 UTC – ❌ INCOMPLETE – pi_3TX5HcIoXl7JCmnw1l1jDbdV (authentication
failed)Ultimately, the payment doesn’t appear in the booking.
1.After _mphb_transaction_id is marked successful:
Does MotoPress ignore subsequent PaymentIntents for the same booking?2.Does MotoPress:lock booking payment state after first successful webhook?
3. Can later: payment_intent.payment_failed payment_intent.canceled incomplete intentsoverwrite or modify a booking already marked paid?
4. How does MotoPress determine which PaymentIntent is authoritative when multiple intents exist for the same reservation session?
5. Is webhook processing idempotent?
Meaning:
duplicate or late webhook events safely ignored.
