Hotel Booking Memory Leak: Broken Website

Hi there,

Today I am having quite the issue with your plugin.

I simply edited the permalink for an accommodation and it broke my whole website.

It is spiking my whole memory up to 1.56GB – 1.81GB on my cPanel hosting, and every time I get the host to clear the 1 process that is still running, it works again. I load the website, then it happens again.

The website cannot load and gets an internal 500 error due to the memory leak.

I get them to clear the process again, and then try disabling the “Hotel Booking” plugin and this does not happen anymore.

I have a lot of content edited and written on there since my last roll back and it is completely halting my development that is due soon.

I need help as soon as possible.

It seems that the issue happened shortly after I set the AirBNB sync, and I flushed the hotel booking databases to start fresh since it’s only in development.

This is a complete flaw in your plugin, and is rendering it almost too unstable for me to even use! How can my clients rely on the most important feature when this is an issue that has not been addressed after months?

Hello Corey,

The issue may indeed occur because of the database overload with synchronization logs. First of all, you should make sure to delete all the logs under Calendar Sync Status tab at the top admin bar and then set the “Automatically delete sync logs older then” option to Day.
Also, check so your Hotel Booking plugin is up-to-date (v. 4.0.0), as we have implemented an improvement regarding sync logs in the latest version, so it should work much better now with ALL the sync logs being removed in set interval.
You may also set the shorter sync logs deletion interval via Cron.
