ParticipantIs it possible to charge a deposit amount on the accommodation total only and not the total price?
It’s a problem for me charging guests including the accommodation + fees as the fee is a refundable damage deposit and shouldn’t really be part of the total.

KeymasterHi Paul,
Thanks for your reply. You can try adding a damage deposit as an Accommodation Tax. There are no other options, at the moment.December 5, 2024 at 5:10 am #1701322Léane Rondel
ParticipantHello,
Are you planning to develop this function?
Thanks

ParticipantI’ll second the need for a refundable damage/security deposit. VRBO, Airbnb, and other listing sites offer refundable security deposits.

ParticipantWe would like to see a good working “deposit” solution as well. Specially if the accomodation is a bit farhter away, otherwise we could ask a deposit in “cash”.
Thanks

ParticipantI agree, and I suggest to make it possible so that a deposit is worth 1 month (or other period) of the per-night price to have some flexibility there.

KeymasterHi Ignacio,
Do you mean the available Deposit amount settings that are configured at Accommodation > Settings > Payment gateways? Or do you need a separate solution for the Security Damage Deposit? Could you describe it in more detail? - AuthorPosts
