Small incompatibility with WordPress 6.8

The Hotel Booking Notifier plugin needs a small update to solve the following incompatibility with WordPress 6.8. This was fixed in the main Hotel Bookings plugin, but this plugin also needs the fix. Thanks!

PHP Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the mphb-notifier domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. This issue is also still happening with the Hotel Booking PDF Invoices plugin as well.

Thank you for your feedback. Meanwhile, you may hide the notice by disabling debug mode via the wp-config.php file of your site.

Thanks for the response. We need debug mode on for some other plugins that we run and monitor, so we can’t turn it off right now. This issue is clogging the log so we have to scrub it a few times a day when we are looking for our important messages. An update to fix this would be much appreciated. (Or if you point me in the right direction I can make a change to the code myself until the update arrives!) Thank you!

Hi, I’m sorry for the delay. Meanwhile, I may advise you to use a third-party plugin for debugging, like Query Monitor, so you may disable the default debug mode.

The issue seems to be fixed in the latest version of the Notifier add-on. Please try updating the add-on.
