    Hello MotoPress team,

Seems like there is Review add-on folder for me to submit my question. I just add it here.

Based on the default guest comment/review from each theme, it has the gravatar images.

So, how my guest can upload their photo/image when they would like to leave review to my listing?

    Seeking clarification on this.

    Cheers,

    Lai

    Hi, Lai!

The Gravatar image suggests the visitor who leaves a review uses e-mail address, associated with his WordPress.com account: https://prnt.sc/rpjbjq. I’ve just used e-mail address, associated with my WordPress.com account and my Gravatar image has displayed automatically.

    Regards,
    Andre

    Hi Alberto,
You can use a third-party plugin that allows you to upload custom images for each user instead of importing them from Gravatar. It is rather up to WordPress functionality.

    Thank you J. Devis,
Probably I didn’t express myself well in the previous message:
By adding real past reviews (from non-WordPress users), how can I add or change the associated image? I can only enter textual information and ratings on the frontend. In the backend, I don’t have the option to add photos associated with the reviewers.
I look forward to your assistance, thanks.

Hi Alberto, You can add users at Dashboard > Users and use the third-party plugin that allows you to upload custom images for each user. Then use the email address of the proper user to add a review.

Follow-up on custom images for reviews

The current system relies on Gravatar, which only works for WordPress users with a registered email. However, this is a limitation for those who:

    • Run a website without user login, which is likely a common case for many using MPHB for bookings.
    • Import past reviews from other platforms (e.g., Booking, Airbnb, TripAdvisor).
    • Want to manually customize reviewer images without requiring a WordPress account.

The suggested workaround (creating WordPress users and using a third-party plugin) is not scalable when adding multiple reviews.

Would it be possible to implement a native option to add custom images to reviews directly from the backend, without needing to create users?

This would significantly improve review management and make the plugin more flexible for various use cases.

For other users: the visibility of this thread might be low, as it tends to get lost in general support discussions rather than a dedicated section for feature improvements.
