    I removed the search bar from the widgets, however this has no impact and does not remove the search bar.

    How can I remove the search bar?

    Hi Laurence,

    In order to remove the content (simple) search then you may disable it via Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Header Options uncheck Display site search form in header..
