I have a small issue when a 2 day min booking rule is defined. The search results exclude results that I would like to include because the check out date field is auto suggested / populated after the check in date is set. This appears to be +1 day of the check in date. Many users set the check in date, then skip the check out date and click search. When they do this they miss any accommodation that has 2 day min set.

Any way to control the auto population of the check out date? So we could make it +2 days from the check in date selected? Or any other way around it?

    Thank you.

    Hello Ryan,

For now, the Check-out field of the search form is auto-filled and there is no such option to leave it empty, for a client to fill the field. Nevertheless, we will add your request to our feature requests list and can notify you when this gets implemented.

Thank you for taking a look at this as a future enhancement. It is a big problem with my hotelier client since he has some accommodations with 2-day minimums set and others that are one day. Hence, a global hotel search will always exclude these 2-day minimum rooms unless the traveler knows enough to manually set the checkout date at least 2 days after check in.

This would be very helpful. We have a 2-night minimum for one Accommodation Type and a 3-night minimum for another type, and have had a lot of feedback from potential guests that we are “booked out” when they wanted to come – but it’s actually that they didn’t change the pre-populated checkout date to 2 nights or 3 nights. We are missing out on bookings because of this.

This would be helpful, as we currently allow some 2 night stays to be booked but would prefer the automatically selected date to be 3 nights rather than 2.

Wouldn’t it be better to let the hotel decide? The hotel could set the number of days in the setting itself.

    Thanks for your feedback.
