Is there a way to use the short code
[mphb_availability_calendar]
to produce an availability calendar that shows availability for all of the rooms at once on the front end? We are using the plugin for cabins and the owner would like to show availability for all 8 cabins on a single calendar for a two week (or one month) period. I know there is something similar that exists on the back end under Bookings > Calendar, but our front end users don’t need access to the actual bookings and we’d like something that is responsive/mobile friendly. Please advise. Thanks!!Justin Roodman on behalf of Kevin Harwood

It is possible to show calendar of certain accommodation type using [mphb_availability_calendar id=”777″] Unfortunately there is not an option to output general calendar for all properties at front end using current functionality of Hotel Booking plugin. You may try to search for third party plugins that outputs calendars and allows to sync it with iCal links e.g. free ICS Calendar plugin. It allows to add multiple ical links of your site to the calendar shortcode separating them by spaces.

May 21, 2020 at 6:58 am #956800Andre FloresModeratorHello, Brian!
You may use previously mentioned ICS Calendar plugin to add an availability calendar for multiple accommodation types. Please note, that it will not allow your Guests to book directly from the calendar, however, they will be able to see what dates are free to book. This is an example of how it would look like: https://prnt.sc/skvh4m.
You may style the calendar per your desire using custom CSS.Regards,

Would it be possible as a faster alternative, to add a shortcode that just displays the same back end booking calendar as is visible to admins on the front end of the site?
Thanks

Use Case: our cleaning company need to know the number of guests so they know what bedding to prepare. Using the ics they can get this, but need to open it up, go to the link then get whatever meta data booking.com or airbnb are sending over – this is very time consuming. With the ‘wp-admin – bookings – settings’ this is all clearly displayed when you hover over each booking.
This does not work with ics plugin as it doesnt pull this detail, we really need the backend shortcode that allows the ‘wp-admin – bookings – settings’ page to be on a password protected public page.

If in the meantime anyone is interested in this, you can do this via a plugin called ‘WP Frontend Admin’ which allows you to expose any admin page publically via shortcode ($29).
