I bought the Aquentro theme which includes the Hotel Booking plugin. I would like to edit some of the wording on the checkout page. Instead of the text beside the checkbox that reads “I’ve read and accept the terms & conditions”, I’d like it to say “I’ve read and accept the House Rules, Terms & Conditions”.
I have tried editing /wp-content/plugins/motopress-hotel-booking/includes/views/shortcodes/checkout-view.php but that doesn’t seem to have any effect on what is displayed on the booking-confirmation page.

Let me know if it helps.

That solution is incredibly backwards. I just want to change some simple text in the body of a page. I found the text in the path I provided in the first communication on this topic, but when I alter it, the new text is not reflected on the page.

Please note that the text should never be changed in PHP file directly. Hotel Booking plugin is fully translatable and has been tested with Loco Translate plugin, therefore it is recommended that any system text is changed via language files, not PHP files.
If you do not want to deal with additional plugins, you may perform changes directly in language files of the Hotel Booking. Check the following answer for more details: https://motopress.com/forums/topic/can-i-change-button-text/#post-931617Best regards,
