Empty ical reservations from airbnb link

Hi,

Well, I have a website, which I have integrated with airbnb. I also have a specific link that I typed into the window of motopress integration. That link looks as follows:

https://www.airbnb.pl/calendar/ical/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.ics?s=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

And here is where I have the biggest problem – during the synchronization activity – a strange behavior occurs. This calendar from your link https://www.airbnb.pl/calendar/ical/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.ics?s=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx contains an empty item that adds to my calendar! Why? If there is no reservation, then simply this file should be empty or it should not be added as empty reservation.

Here is the content of this file:

And it adds to my bookings calendar as reservation with a date:

DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20251205
and as a description I have
SUMMARY:Airbnb (Not available)

So I got an empty reservation from 04.12.2025 to 05.12.2025 with just description Airbnb (Not available).

Is it bug? Or what?

Hi Monika,
The link you mentioned https://www.airbnb.pl/calendar/ical/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.ics?s=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is not from our plugin but from Airbnb. It stores the bookings and closed dates from the Airbnb calendar. By adding it to the plugin settings you let the plugin import the bookings and closed dates from Airbnb to your site. Thus, you need to check your Airbnb calendar and availability settings to find out why those dates are available in their ical file. Perhaps it is a booking window or other availability configuration. You may try contacting Airbnb support to learn more about the calendar and export ical URL.
