Description on the checkout page

I’m currently creating a second rate plan for each vacation rental that includes cancellation insurance.

In the description on the checkout page, I need to:
– include line breaks
– add a link to legal documents.

Even if I add line breaks to the description, it stretches out without any break.
I don’t have any solution to insert a link into the description text.

Is there a way to change this, even by editing the code or using a snippet (which I’d prefer) ?
