ParticipantThe thumbnails for the child pages links on the home page appear to be using too small of images, so they come out blurry. How can I change it so that it used larger versions of these images?

ParticipantYour images are in landscape orientation. When WordPress resizes the original image (using the default quality of 82%), some sharpness may be lost. After that, the image is placed into a portrait-oriented area, which causes additional scaling and can further reduce quality.
To improve the result, try cropping your images to a square format before uploading. You can do this in the Media Library, using an online tool, or with an image editor on your computer.
If this doesn’t help, you can temporarily increase the default image quality in WordPress from 82% to 100% using a plugin, and then regenerate thumbnails. After that, it’s recommended to revert the quality setting back to 82% or 90%, as it provides an optimal balance in most cases.
