Change menu and header font

I don’t know how to change the menu font and the font of the text over the header image. There is usually an option to change it in the customiser, but I cant’t find it.

I don’t know where and how to change it in css. Please help.

Hello,

You may change font family under your dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Typography > Default Typography.
The fonts can also be customized with a specialized plugin, e.g. this one. Note that fonts affect your website’s speed.

thanks for the reply.

There isn’t a “Default typography” or even a “Typography” option under Appearance > Customize. That’s the problem.

It is such a basic option which isn’t available. I would rather not use additional plugins.

Thank you for your reply and sorry for any misunderstanding.
The “Typography” section where fonts can be edited, can be added with this third-party plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-google-fonts/ or any other one for these purposes.
By default, fonts cannot be changed.
