I am trying unsuccessfully to create an automatic export to a Google Sheet using “Uncanny Automator.”
My goal: every time a reservation is created, the details of that reservation would be recorded in a Google Sheet, in order to create automations via “Make” (sending text messages, for example).Has anyone already created something similar, even with a different tool?
Hi Eric, unfortunately, there is no option to export the reports automatically yet. At the moment, you can export bookings by using an ical URL. However, there are not many details in the bookings in this format, because its initial purpose was to block availability on the external platforms.
I use Zapier (free version works for this) to create Google Spreadsheets from bookings. The first step was to set up the “parse” function. Every new booking email triggers the parse function. The parse function pulls data from the booking email. The second step takes the data parsed from the email and places it in a Google sheet. The spreadsheet is used by our accountant to track credit card payments. – Glen
