What is the object "space" for?

I don´t understand the use of the object “space”. When do you use it?

Hi,
Space object allows to create custom indents easily by re-sizing it with your mouse as alternative to custom padding, margin, etc. Also you can make separation between blocks by switching to style tab of settings panel.
