    Hi there,

    It seems that my ‘read more’ tags aren’t working for the first page of blog posts on my site. Posts on Page 2 work fine however, and the Reading Settings are set to show a Summary of posts. Do you know how to fix this?

    My site is: http://www.oneposting.com

    Thanks for any support you can provide,

    Connor

    Hello Connor,

    Read More tag should work for Blog layout only http://www.oneposting.com/oneposting-insights/ As for the Front Page section so it shows 95 characters length from post description. It is encoded in a theme.

    Best regards,
    John

    Hi John,

    Sorry for my late reply, but the read more tags currently aren’t working on http://www.oneposting.com/oneposting-insights/ and that is the issue I’m experiencing. Do you have any idea as to why this might be?

    Thanks,

    Connor

    Hi Connor,

    I’ve just checked that page and found that it worked for 2nd post. Please check this screenshot http://prntscr.com/ejsm2v As you can see its description is not full. Please make sure you have applied More Tag for all other posts.

    Best regards,
    John

    Hi John,

    We’ve added more blog posts since beginning this thread and the More Tags only work on some posts, not all of them, and now it isn’t working on Page 2 and 3 as well. I have applied the More Tag correctly on all of the other posts but for some reason it is only working some of the posts. It will also work on posts for a while but then stop working once I add a new post. For example it will work on Blog X but once I add Blog Y the More Tag on Blog X stops working.

    Is there any resolution to my issue?

    Thanks,
    Connor

    Hi Connor,

    We need to take a closer look at your WordPress installation. Could you submit a request providing admin access there? The requests are private so you should not worry about your website safety.

    Best regards,
    John

    “Read More” tag in my blog does not work on any blog page.
    I looked at the code of posts

    By default, WordPress generates a link “read more”
    as
    <p>SOME TEXT<span id="more-ID"></span></p>

    But if the post is created with Visual Builder, it looks like

    <div class="motopress-text-obj">
    <p>SOME TEXT</p>
    </div>
    </div>
    </div>
    <p><!--more--></p>
    <div class=...

    (Theme Emmet Pro)

    Please fix it

    Hi,

    Thank you for reporting this. We have replicated the issue with Visual Builder and will work on fixing it in one of next update releases. We’ll notify you here once we get any news on this.

    best regards,
    John
