I’ve run into a serious limitation with the current PriceLabs integration.

When PriceLabs is connected and syncing rates, it appears that any modification to an existing reservation triggers a full re-sync of nightly prices. Not just for newly added nights, but also for the original dates of the booking.

    Example scenario:
    • A guest books a stay weeks or months in advance at the rates available at that time
    • During their stay, they request to extend their booking by one or more nights
    • The system updates the reservation, but instead of only pricing the additional nights with current rates, it recalculates the entire booking using the current PriceLabs rates

This effectively overwrites the original pricing agreement, which is a major issue.

Since PriceLabs is designed for dynamic pricing, rate changes over time are expected, but existing reservations should not be repriced retroactively. This leads to:
    • Incorrect totals
    • Loss of original pricing integrity
    • Potential conflicts with guests

Additionally, there seems to be no option to manually override nightly rates when PriceLabs is active, which makes it impossible to correct this behavior.

From an operational standpoint, there should be:
    • A way to preserve original booking rates when modifying a reservation
    • And/or the ability to manually override nightly rates on a per-booking basis, even when PriceLabs is enabled

Is this the intended behavior, or is there a workaround to prevent full re-pricing on reservation updates?

    Thanks!
