Hi all
Quick question regarding this setting “Do not export imported bookings”
If that is ticked does it mean if a booking is pulled down from Booking.com for instance, will it not upload that booking to other providers like Expedia?
Tnx in advance
Marc

That is correct, enabling this option will not allow bookings imported from OTAs to be exported to other OTAs. It is recommended that you sync all the OTAs calendars with each other in order to prevent any chance of overbooking, e.g. sync Hotel Booking with Booking.com and Expedia, as well as sync Booking.com with Expedia.

If you sync your Hotel Booking calendar with a single OTA, then it is recommended to have the option ticked, since there is no sense in exporting bookings to an external calendar, which were imported from the same calendar. If you sync your Hotel Booking calendar with several OTAs, then you may leave the option unticked in order to make sure imported bookings from one OTA are also exported to other ones.

In my case a few months ago this unchecked option worked correctly and if checked it cleared some bookings from booking.com, now this option is behaving in reverse, if unchecked some reserved dates become available. This caused quite a bit of confusion.
