Checkout fields, value when empty

Hi,
I have a custom checkout (text)field to ask customer about the number of children age 2 to 12 years. This field is called ‘%customer_children2_12%’. If visitor enters nothing, the value for this field in the confirmation email says:’%customer_children2_12%’. How can I change this to ‘0’ or ‘none’ (or just remove this whole line). Or is it possible to set a default value of 0, somewhere?

Hi Joke,

I’ve tested the issue you have described locally and found that there is nothing displayed in the email when the information is not added to a custom field. Please refer to the attached screenshot http://prntscr.com/19g7p1x
Make sure you use the latest version of the Checkout Fields addon and check it again.
