Cancellation fees

    Hi there

    Is it possible to automate the cancellation fees?
    I see there was discussion in 2017 about this.

    If someone cancels – does it auto refund? Can you pick a date where this doesnt happen?
    Or create % based on days till booking

    Hello Maryanne,

    You can enable booking cancellation within the plugin settings under your dashboard > Accommodation > Settings > “User can cancel booking via link provided inside email”.
    Nevertheless, no refunds can be automated within the plugin.
    MotoPress Hotel Booking provides payment functionality. However, the plugin does not manage it.
    That means, all the refunds should be managed manually.

    Can I configure how long cancellation link is valid? Lets say only 1 month before arrival.

    Thanks for your question. At the moment, there is no option to set expiration period for the cancellation link. Though we have such a request in our list of features so I’ve added your upvote to this task. We will notify you if we have any news.
