ParticipantHello!
I am developing a custom system that integrates with Booklium through the API. I have a question and would appreciate your help with it:
In my business, the availability of accommodations of the same type can vary depending on the day, week, month, etc. Each accommodation has its own “calendar”. There is no fixed pattern. For example:
Let’s say I have the accommodation type “Standard Room,” with 10 accommodations. I want to make it so that between 2025-11-01 and 2025-11-10, only 3 of these 10 accommodations are available for booking. Between 2025-11-15 and 2025-11-20, none are available. On 2025-11-21, only 1 is available, and so on…
It is possible to achieve this by using the “block accommodation” rule, or by generating reservations on behalf of “admin.” This would correctly block the dates in the booking calendar shown to the user. However, since I have many different accommodations and a large fluctuation in the availability of rooms, even automating this process through the API is complex, difficult to maintain, and prone to errors.
I would like to know if there is a better and more optimized way to manage the availability of accommodations. Since I am integrating the system through the API, it would be great if I could solve this without modifying the Booklium code or the Hotel Booking plugin code.
Thank you very much!
