Sync Calendar Import Shows Blocked as Booked

I imported iCal from HomeAway. It pulled all the dates through but unfortunately shows Blocked dates as Booked in the plugin. Is there a way to import the data with correct status?

Hello Elliot,

There is no unified way to differ a booking or a block within ical type of synchronization. All unavailable dates are imported as bookings/events. With HomeAway you may be able to recognize bookings if the Booking Log contains a guest name.

The export iCal seems to differentiate between booked and blocked dates and includes booking dates in the ics file but does not include dates blocked from within the Hotel Booking plugin. Is there a way to ensure all unavailable dates are included in the Hotel Booking generated ics file?

Hello Stephen,

The blocked dates are not added to ICS file so if you wish to notify other platforms that certain dates are blocked we recommend to add the blocks as reservations/bookings from admin panel.

==Update==
It is possible to add blocked dates to ical file with option ‘Export admin blocks’ under ‘Accommodation -> Settings -> General -> Calendars Synchronization’.
