Negative price for services

Hi,

we have just subscribed a membership and are trying to use the Booking plugin for a client but we are facing some problem:

1- here in Italy (and I think nearly in all Europe and over) we have usually a discount for children (depending on age) but the plugin is not friendly about it. There is the Adults/children option but it’s not working correctly as stated by other users.

2- in some cases is useful to have a discount for some options

3- the use of coupons is not intuitive nor elegant in the above cases

so….

is there a possibility to let the services take a negative value (as a discount):
es: children under 10 age: -15€
breakfast excluded: -10€
?

Actually services don’t accept negative value but it would solve a wide variety of issues

If we can’t solve this I think we need to unsubscribe and go to find other solutions…

Thank you for your question. It is possible to set up variable pricing for capacity variations of adults and children. We recommend to refer to this video guide

As for Services so you may add separate Services for Children with different (discounted) prices.

I would also be interested in this feature.
Ability to add negative price services.
Useful in cases for example when an option is included by default, but you can check a box if you dont want to use it, and recieve a discount.

Hi Thomas, there is no option to preselect specific services on the checkout page. The guests can select the service they need, optionally.

Hi, yes I realise this, this isn’t quite what I am asking;
I am requesting that it become possible to create a service that has no minimum price, so that a negative price can be set.
Currently it is not possible to set a price lower than 0.

This would make it possible for a customer to tick a box, and recieve a discount, not just pay extra for a service.

For example
Admin menu->Accommodations->Services->Add new->Price-> set a negative price (eg -10$)
Currently an error appears, and the form doesnt accept it.
