Need Help with Portofolio Layout

Hi, i downloaded the mentioned single-portfolio.php to get rid of the double featured picture, because I´m using a slider there. Unfortunately it deleted my sidebar. I´m not very good in Coding, is there something I can do. Or do I have to go through of all pages an add it by hand again ?
And the only thing I can´t find is who to change the page background in the single posts or portfolio sides.
The rest is done, great template, very easy to customize for a beginner.

1. Please specify what exactly you want to achieve at your Portfolio pages? Do you have any example or screenshot?
2. You can browse this forum for answer on how to change background color on pages of Emmet theme.
