Hi!
I have only been able to use the plugin to import the rates from Pricelabs to Motopress, but as far as I can see, it is not importing the minimum and maximum stay rules. From the plugin description, I understood these variables are also imported, but this is not happening, at least as far as I could test.
Could you please clarify?
Thanks!May 30, 2024 at 1:09 am #1625100J. DavisKeymasterHi,
The Pricelabs add-on imports pricing only at the moment. It does not import booking rules. We have added your request to our list of features. We will notify you if we have any news. ThanksNovember 8, 2024 at 5:55 pm #1690223Guillermo BandresParticipantHi! It’s been a while already, and since using Pricelabs without the booking rules is useless for us, I haven’t started using Motopress.
– Could you give me some directions of where can I look for the rates synchronization? Is perhaps a handler and those go to the database? Any direction would be appreciated, so I can look for a developer.
– Does Motopress offer custom development services? I just need the Pricelabs to be complete: the same way the rates are sync, also the booking rules (the min-stay for particularly)
Thanks!

Thank you for your reply. Yes, the prices are imported from the Pricelabs to the database. Unfortunately, we do not provide customization services at the moment as all our developers are working on updates for new and existing products.November 21, 2024 at 12:53 am #1694400AlbertoParticipantPricelabs without the booking rules is useless for us
I quote @Guillermo Bandres.
This rule-function is a game-changing feature, without which for most (or at least many) use cases the use of Pricelabs plugin won’t be effective.
Using only the price/rates synchronization is less than 50% of the work so I am not using it too.I did open a few topics in this forum. Motopress is indeed a good Team, but to excel the it should focus on :
- Mobile App “Hotel Booking for WordPress” is a great starting point, but it is permanently in “newborn” state, deep focus to implement it starting soon with a roadmap for the long run is needed.
- If you don’t have developers to work on the App, then backend Website ( /wp-admin/admin.php ) should be mobile-first completely rethought, or at least in a first stage must become mobile ready ( meaning all functions have to work on a mobile. This is currently not the case. Just one example: /wp-admin/admin.php?page=mphb_booking_rules , not even forcing “Desktop view” on smartphone make this section & its functions usable from mobile ).
