ParticipantI’d love this plugin to be more useful for event bookings. I’d like to be able to:
– Set up recurring Events with a Start and End Date: If I have an event running every Saturday at 11am and 2pm through summer I have to use the custom schedule for the employee and set each day manually. It would be great if, in the timetable section of the employee page I could put a start and end date so that I could have more control of recurring schedules.
– I think that above the times that are selectable for a date in the event calendar there should be a label saying: “Choose a time” (or something editable)
– I couldn’t see an easy way to change someone’s booking to a different time/event without deleting it and redoing it. In the hotel booking plugin you can edit a booking and change accommodation/dates quite easily. It would be good if this functionality was copied across and made sure that any changes reflected the availability of tickets for the altered dates/times.
– It would be great if there was a notification which would email the guest list (name of everyone who brought a ticket and how many tickets for a certain booking time or day). This could then get emailed to the employee who is doing the tour and they would have a list to tick off all the people that have arrived.
– Currently if a time slot is sold out it disappears. It would be nice to have an option which keeps it there but has a sold out label on it.
– A really great feature would be to have an ability to show the main image associated with the service for all services with upcoming availability/slots. That way I could save an event poster image as the main image for each service and have a page/section which would automatically show poster images of the events that are coming up and were clickable to go through to the booking page. Once the events had past they would automatically disappear from the list. The biggest annoyance with having an event page is keeping it updated with new events and taking old events down.
– Add-ons: It would be good if through the checkout/booking process there could be a section for add ons. If these could be specific products in WooCommerce that would be awesome.Just a few suggestions, and maybe there are workarounds or functions which would allow the above which I don’t know about.
I keep trying to use this plugin for regular summer scheduled wine tasting events but there are a few things holding me back from using it. I think it could soon offer a better solution than my current method (a woocommerce variable product) as it has a nicer interface and more custom notifications but there are just a few things that are missing for me.
Please keep up the good work on developing this plugin as I am really hoping to use it soon.
