Hi
Hope you’re all doing fine!
I’d like to add Apple Pay Button to my Checkout via Stripe.
https://stripe.com/docs/apple-pay#web

Do you plan to implement it or have a how-to in place?
WooCommerce would not help since it goes via Stripe, as well.

Btw, which stripe.js version is in the Hotel booking Plug-In?
Thanks
Paul

Hi, Paul!

Currently Stripe payment gateway integrated in Hotel Booking plugin includes following payment methods:

Bancontact
iDEAL
Giropay
SEPA Direct Debit
SOFORT

Unfortunately, Apple Pay is not available at the moment, however, if there are similar requests from other users regarding this matter, we will definitely consider adding this feature to one of future plugin updates.
Anyone who needs this feature as well, feel free to let me know by commenting this topic.

Regards,
Andre

Hi Andre
I understand, thanks!
I could use WooCommerce PlugIN of course, but I don’t like the extra step and the UI. I do prefer to just use the integrated Stripe payment.
Best, take care.

Dear MotoPress Team,

First and foremost, I want to commend you on the excellent work integrating Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link into the Appointment Booking plugin. This enhancement significantly elevates the user experience, offering clients seamless and secure payment options directly through their devices.

However, it is concerning that, despite numerous requests over the past five years, similar functionality has not been extended to the Hotel Booking plugin. The absence of these widely-used payment methods in the Hotel Booking plugin represents a significant gap in its capabilities.

The Importance of Integrating Apple Pay and Google Pay:

• Market Adoption: According to Statista, Apple Pay had over 50 million U.S. users as of 2023, while Google Pay continues to expand its user base globally. Excluding these options means potentially alienating a vast segment of users who prefer these payment methods.
• Enhanced Security and Convenience: Both Apple Pay and Google Pay offer advanced security features, including tokenization and biometric authentication, ensuring safer transactions. For users, the convenience of completing bookings with a simple tap cannot be overstated.
• No Additional Costs: Integrating these payment methods through Stripe incurs no extra fees for merchants or customers, making it a cost-effective enhancement that benefits all parties involved.

Call to Action:

Given the clear advantages and the successful implementation in the Appointment Booking plugin, I urge the development team to prioritize the integration of Apple Pay and Google Pay into the Hotel Booking plugin. This addition would not only modernize the payment system but also align the plugin with current market standards, ultimately enhancing user satisfaction and increasing conversion rates.

To J. Davis: As mentioned in other threads, please respond only if you have substantive information to contribute. Your pattern of replying merely to be the last in the queue does not add value to these discussions.

For Other Users: This thread may not receive the visibility it deserves, as it tends to get lost in general support discussions rather than a dedicated section for feature improvements. To help bring more attention to this request, please leave a “+1” below.

Thank you for your attention , I hope there will be a dedication to improving MotoPress products and listen to its clients.

+100 @ Chris Hawes.
Shame is indeed the right word to describe the contrast between the enthusiastic engagement of users—who’ve spent time documenting meaningful, practical improvements—and the evident LACK of response in development priorities.

It’s disheartening to see community-driven feedback, especially for widely adopted tools like Apple Pay and Google Pay, fail to translate into tangible progress after so many years.
