    Hello,
I have a accommodation page in the url: https://festilux.nl/accommodation/safaritent-werchter/
for example. I want to get rid of this page because I don’t need it and I want a structure that makes sense. the situation right now is not good for SEO, the page https://festilux.nl/accommodation/ gives a listing of all tents i don’t like to use. Who knows how to fix this? would make me very happy!

    greets,
    Mark

    Hi Mark,
You can enable redirection to another page or the home page. There are various free plugins that allow you to set up the redirection from one URL to another.

    Thanks for your response.
excuse me for not being so clear in my explanation.

It’s all about this page: https://festilux.nl/accommodation/

It pops up in the sitemap, it’s indexed by google, but I want to get rid of it. It is just a list of all our accommodation but without any purpose.

    greets,
    Mark

    Hi Mark,
To hide this page from the search engine, you need to check the configurations of the SEO plugin that you use on your site. Usually, they provide an option whether to index this or that archive page. Please refer to the documentation of the SEO plugin to learn more.

I can not edit this page because its is some kind of post- category for the accommodations. It is not a page i can edit from the back-end. So I can not add a no-index tag or something.or even better, make this “page” invisible by editing visibility rights in WP.
