Videos in Homepage Sections?

Is it possible to add videos to the homepage sections – specifically the First Feature Section?

I use an external site (Wistia) to hold my videos to enable tracking information of viewers, so I don’t host the video files themselves in the media library. Any insight would be great, thanks!

Hi Kate,

There is no option to embed video from Wistia to Front Page of Emmet theme. You can play video in Big Title Section only. You can do it using MotoPress Slider(YouTube, Vimeo, self hosted) or as self hosted videos at the background.

I have a video added to the BIG TITLE section of my EMMET PRO theme and its not working.
Its a 17 second https://…mp4 video and it never displays in the right window after I add or after I waited a while and saved it.

WHat are the requirements here? The theme doesn’t need other plugins , correct??

Hello Mike,

Make sure you have added all 3 video formats (MP4, OGG, WEBM) to play it on all browser types.
