Stripe web hooks + Pay on arrival or bank transfers.

hello!

I’d like to take payments by credit cards or cash on arrival.

Can I use direct bank debits/transfers?

Do I need webhook? If not when would I need to fill in the webhook section?

The docs say I should enter 5 types of events.

I can only get 2 of them to work correctly – is that all I need?

source.failed. Test webhook error: 400

source.canceled – Test webhook error: 400

source.chargeable – Test webhook error: 400

charge.failed. – Test webhook sent successfully

charge.succeeded – Test webhook sent successfully

But only works with last 2.

Hello Ryan,

Stripe allows accepting credit card to pay for the booking. You may also enable Direct Bank Transfer payment method and add instructions for your guests with the account number to pay for a booking to.
As for the Stripe, you only need to set up webhook in case you accept payments other than credit card payments via Stripe, e.g. iDeal, Giropay etc.
I would recommend that you contact Stripe support team regarding the issue with some events not working, as usually all of them should work fine.
