Disable Payment Request if customer already paid Booking_Balance_Due?

I have copied and pasted the “Pay Balance Now” link from the Hotel Booking Payment Request email to the Booking Approval email the customer will receive after paying the initial deposit.

This gives them the option to pay the Booking_Balance_Due at any time from having received the Booking Approval email.

My question is, if the Booking_Balance_Due is settled before the automatic payment request email is sent to the customer, can or does the System automatically disable the Payment Request email ?

If not isn’t there the risk that the customer will pay the Booking_Balance_Due twice ?

Hi Matthew,

A payment request email won’t be sent to the customer if Balance_Due = 0.

Even if an email was sent and the customer opened the link, he would see $0 while balance due is calculated every time you visit the “Payment Request” page.
