deposit gateway based on variable fees

Does anyone have an idea how to set the deposit equal to the value of the taxes only?
I need to charge only my fee on a booking site. my fee is a percentage of the accommodation that I set as a “Booking” fee.
It would be nice to have the ability to set the gateway with more options.

Hi Antonio,

Thanks for your question. I may just offer you to set up a percentage deposit charge type at Accommodation > Settings > Payment Gateways. There is no other option by default.

Asking for a percentage is right.
but it would be nice to be able to implement it like this:
have a gateway that lets you choose what to charge from the cost table (price-breakdown).
in order to make known a real price but request a deposit excluding extra costs from it, such as taxes or supplements.

Hi Davis,

at the moment the gateway requires:
total payment, deposit payment (percentage of total or fixed amount).

it would be nice to have:
full payment,
Full payment excluding surcharges or taxes,
Fixed deposit payment,
Deposit Payment percentage of the total including taxes and commissions,
Deposit Payment of the deposit without surcharges or commissions,
Deposit payment of taxes only.

in europe (especially in italy) if you work as a booking agency you just need to collect the booking fee. the guest must pay the balance directly to the structure. In Italy, sometimes you cannot collect money on behalf of third parties.
