Custom Checkout Fields in PDF Invoice

how can i have my custom checkout fields in my PDF invoice?

When i set the Tag it is shown for email in my pdf template, the placeholder is not rendered

I need that function too. It’s very important to put the Passport Number in the Invoce. Vote for that.

I think I would need this for my business as well. Custom fields would be an excellent way of adding extra details to the invoice like passport numbers and for us vehicle registration numbers.
