Calendar sync is suddenly hanging / waiting

On checking calendar syncs today I found that all of a sudden syncs are hanging / waiting. Up until a couple of hours all seems was fine. See the screenshot. https://share.cleanshot.com/Z1jw7936

I have another site and there all works fine so I assume that this is not a hosting/server issue.

I have checked the ical links on an external calendar and they import fine

Any idea what could be the reason for this suddenly stopping?
