Update theme

I have an unlimited version of villagio and i am am on version 1.8.2

What do i need to do to update it ?

I assume that there is a different builder on more recent versions and even if i update to the new version i have to rebuild the site.

Is there any version in between that is more updated or is there a security issue with not upgrading the site to the new version ?

from my download area i understood that i can pass it to 1.8.5

i don´t know hot to proceed further

Hi Paulo,

Thanks for your question. The Villagio theme does not include any page builder. There was used default WordPress editor initially however later it was replaced with WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) in the latest versions of WordPress. Though all the content still should look correctly so you may update the theme to the latest version.
If you prefer using Classic Editor you may install this plugin that disables Gutenberg – it is called Classic Editor plugin.
